The memory foam version costs a few dollars more than the regular foam version but it solves a couple of problems people had with the original model.

Memory foam works by softening at points where it becomes warmed from contact with your body. The more pressure is applied, the warmer and softer the foam becomes. This is how it senses where you need more or less support.
