Snore Reduction Pillow

Snore Reduction Pillow

Your sleep position can have a lot to do with how much you snore at night. A snore reduction pillow can help cradle your head, neck and upper body in a position that is intended to reduce the possibility of snoring, allowing you a better nights sleep with less restricted airway passage.

Snoring is a common problem. It can leave you feeling tired and drained in the morning – almost as if you haven’t slept at all! The problem is further compounded by the fact that your snoring can have a negative impact on your spouse or others who sleep in close proximity to you.

When you sleep, the muscles in your neck relax and no longer provide the same support for your airway passage that your neck provides during the day. If you have ever suffered with snoring (and I mean the snorer not the person who has to listen to the snoring – although, both suffer!), you may have felt that additional pressure on your breathing when your chin is tucked down to your chest while sleeping. While that is a natural sleep position, it can worsen your snoring.

A regular pillow does not provide the support necessary to force the jaw outwards, keeping the nasal passages and airway as open as possible to help with snore reduction. A sore reduction pillow is shaped specifically to compensate for the lack of muscle support by keeping the neck straight and the jaw pushed outwards away from the neck.

This Contour Anti Snore Pillow is intended to do just that. It has an adjustable, inflatable interior so that the user can customize the amount of support they receive. Since each person’s body structure and neck support needs are different, the flexibility of this pillow makes it a good option for more people.

The pillow design encourages side-sleeping which is better for those who have problems with snoring. It cradles the neck and keeps the jaw pushed outwards to help with breathing while you sleep.

Latex foam blocks provide the surrounding support, in addition to the inflatable air pocket. Folks with latex allergies should, therefore, seek a different option.

If you snore at night or sleep with someone who does, try a snore reduction pillow for a more comfortable, and quiet, night’s rest.
