The biggest problem with snoring? It’s a sleep-robbing theif that creeps into your room when you least expect it, messes with your marriage, and leaves you feeling drained the next day. If it were a person, you would call the police and get a restraining order.
The challenge is often that the person who snores doesn’t even know they are doing it. The person next to them knows. In fact, they are put in the position of having to fix the problem because they are getting hit the most.
Here’s an example. Watch the video.
Now, who looks like they’re “sleeping like a baby”? Unfortunately, it’s not the baby. The man snoring, however, is not woken up by his own noise. He appears to be sound asleep. However, that kind of sleep -- where your breathing is being forced through a restricted airway -- means your body is having to work harder to get the oxygen pushed through your system. He’ll feel less rested but he may not know why.
If one person snores, multiple people are often impacted, no one sleeps well and that’s a problem.
